Electees Announced!

Six Brunswick High School graduates have been elected to the Brunswick High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. The inductees will be honored at a banquet at the high school on April 25 in conjunction with the Brunswick Education Foundation's (BEF) spring gala.

Those elected are:

• Gary Norman, class of 1993
• Raymond Aceto, class of 1985
• James R. Bigam, class of 1966
• Kenneth J. Strauss, class of 1961
• Larry N. Mladek, class of 1961
• Captain Ted P. Neura, class of 1951.

The April 25, 2009 event will be held at 6 p.m. in the Brunswick High School East Cafeteria and will feature a sit-down dinner catered by several area restaurants who have donated their time and food.

The dinner will be served by members of the National Honor Society. Cost is $25 per ticket and BEF will hold a silent auction of baskets donated by school organizations. Proceeds go toward scholarships to Brunswick graduates and grants to teachers for special projects.
