Outstanding Alumni Honored at gala in December

The stars were shining brightly on Dec. 1 when 10 outstanding Brunswick graduates were inducted into the Brunswick High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. This is the second class of inductees, selected from among 45 exceptional nominees. The new inductees are:

• David Alwin Wolff, class of 1952
• John Becker, class of 1960
• William Parschen, class of 1965
• Michael E. Carlson, Ed.D., class of 1966
• The Rev. Dr. Richard Powers, class of 1970
• Chief Robert E. Moody, class of 1970
• Susan Jakabcic Hambley, class of 1973
• Chief Dennis Hanwell, class of 1975
• Amy Lynne Eddings Hilan, class of 1981
• Kevin Peterka , class of 1987

The induction was held in conjunction with the Brunswick Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship gala starting at the Blue Heron Country Club, Medina.
